Founded in 2024, Dr. Phil-Afel Foundation NPC operates from the heart of Cape Town's Hanover Park — one of the Western Cape's most under-resourced communities. We were built on Ubuntu philosophy: the belief that our collective wellbeing is more powerful than any individual effort.
Our founding director Chad Cupido, alongside directors Zenith Yassin and Feroza Begg, leads a passionate team of community practitioners, youth coaches, and development workers committed to measurable, sustainable impact.
We are registered with CIPC, approved as a Public Benefit Organisation by SARS, and hold Section 18A status. We are proudly accountable, transparent, and donor-ready.

Funders asked us to make the family of brands plain. Here it is — one legal entity receives your donation; two sister organisations amplify the work.

Sister social enterprise — plant-powered food and educational consulting. Commercial revenue supports the mission.
